Rarity
There are three rarity types for each Hero class that are static in nature, meaning that a class will always be assigned the same rarity regardless of whether it is a Lord, Knight or Soldier. The rarity of a card determines the base power rankings of the hero card represented at the four cardinal points. Base power rankings are also static. e.g. A Pirate will always be a 2-star with a 1-5-3-2 power ranking (1 being North or Top moving in a clockwise order). The rarity of a hero does play a role in whether or not they are likely to have an ability, which will be denoted in the bottom right of the card. e.g. There are more heroes with abilities in the 2-star and 3-star category than 1-star.
Power rankings are as follows: 1-star: 8-9 power 2-star: 9-11 power 3-star: 12-14 power
Decks will be limited to the number of 3-star and 2-star heroes that can be used based on the total number of heroes owned.
If you own less than 5 heroes you will only be able to use one 3-star hero and two 2-star heroes in your deck. Owning between 5 and 10 heroes will allow for two 3-star heroes and three 2-star heroes to be used. Owning more than 10 heroes will allow for three 3-star heroes and an unlimited number of 2-star heroes to be used. There is no limit on 1-star heroes regardless of hero ownership.
