# Getting Started

Loot Heroes is a browser based game on the Solana blockchain. \
\
In order to play you will need to have one of the following wallets installed:

* Phantom
* Slope
* Solflare
* Ledger
* Sollet & Sollet (Extension)

After you've gotten yourself setup with a wallet, if you haven't already bought yourself a Hero NFT you may want to check out the collection: <https://magiceden.io/marketplace/lootheroes>. You'll need a Hero in order to start earning LOOT in the game, which is required to recruit more heroes and forge gear making your heroes strong enough to defeat the daily dungeons. You can acquire gear through the marketplace as well: <https://magiceden.io/marketplace/lootheroesgear>, or earn it through gameplay.\
\
Once you've acquired a hero head to: <https://lootheroes.io/game> where you can view your heroes, stake them on expeditions to earn LOOT, recruit more heroes, and run dungeons for additional LOOT.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://loot-heroes.gitbook.io/loot-heroes/learn/getting-started.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
